Cantilever aluminum Louvres

Cantilever aluminum Louvres sit in between brackets that are mounted above windows or doors. The size of the mounting plate that attaches the bracket to the wall is determined by the projection of the louver and also what the wall is constructed of.

Brick walls
Brick or concrete walls are usually the easiest to mount Cantilever Louvres to. You can go as wide as you want by adding extra brackets and go up to a 900mm projection.

Timber frame walls
If the building has a timber frame you will need to know where the studs are. Why? Because the brackets must be attached to the studs. This will also dictate the width of the louver as the brackets will need to be mounted to the studs. The best time to measure the size of the louver is before the external walls are installed. You may need to add timber inside the walls to allow for the attachment of the louver brackets.
