Powder Coating Colours Sydney — Durable Colour, Built to Last

Powder coating colours for Sydney homes: every Eco Awnings awning and louvre is powder coated in our Sydney workshop, so it arrives finished, fade-resistant, and ready to fix to the wall.

The Finish

What Is Powder Coating — and Why It Beats Paint

Powder coating is a dry powder finish that’s electrostatically applied to aluminium, then baked on at high temperature. The heat cures it into a single tough, even skin — far harder than brushed or sprayed paint. There’s no solvent to evaporate, no brush marks, and nothing to peel.

That makes it the right finish for anything living outdoors in Sydney: it shrugs off UV, coastal air, and daily wear without fading, chipping or flaking the way paint does.

Our Workshop

Coated in Our Workshop, Not on Your Wall

Powder coating isn’t an optional extra at Eco Awnings — it’s part of how we build. Every frame is welded, then powder coated with premium Dulux powders as part of manufacture in our Sydney workshop. Your awning or louvre arrives in its final colour, fully assembled, with no on-site painting and no touch-ups needed.

No Colour Surcharge

Standard Colours — Included in Every Quote

These six colours run through our workshop every week. They’re the fastest to deliver, and there’s never a colour surcharge — the price in your quote already includes them.

Custom Colours

The Full Colour Range — Any Colour, Custom Coated

Want something beyond the standards? We coat in the full Dulux Duralloy range — the same range that includes all the Colorbond® steel colours — so your awning can match your roof, gutters or window frames exactly.

Because custom colours need a dedicated set-up at the coaters, smaller jobs may carry a modest colour surcharge and a little extra lead time. We’ll always tell you up front in your quote.

Going Further

Premium and Coastal Finishes

For homes close to the water, or for metallic, pearl and textured looks, we also coat in Dulux Duratec — a super-durable range engineered for tougher exposure, suitable right down to near-beachfront positions. Browse the full range on the Dulux Powder Coatings website, then tell us the colour name and we’ll build it into your quote.

Every Eco Awnings product — powder coat finish included — is covered by our outstanding two-year warranty. Powder coating comes standard on every window and door awning and every aluminium louvre we make.

Good to Know

Powder Coating Questions

Will the colour fade in the sun?

Powder coat is heat-cured for UV resistance well beyond ordinary paint. It’s made for Australian conditions — harsh sun, coastal air and daily weather — without fading, chalking or peeling.

Can you match my Colorbond roof?

Yes. The Dulux Duralloy range we coat in includes all the Colorbond steel colours, so matching your awning or louvres to your roof, gutters or fascia is straightforward.

Why are the six standard colours cheaper?

Our powder coaters run those colours constantly, so there’s no special set-up for your job. That efficiency keeps small jobs affordable — and the saving goes straight to you.

Should I choose gloss, satin or matt?

Most colours are available in more than one finish level. Satin is the most popular for awnings and louvres — it hides fingerprints and dust better than gloss. Tell us the look you’re after and we’ll advise what’s available in your colour.
